WARRIOR BOXES

People with end stage kidney disease who are on dialysis or waiting for a kidney transplant are often referred to as "warriors" because of the daily battle they face to survive.

Some medical supplies arrive in sturdy, reusable and convenient size cardboard boxes that are just too good to send to recycle. What better to do than turn them into something beautiful with a meaningful purpose?

We've crafted these solid little boxes into something worth hanging on to. Using a mix of colorful designs, each one is transformed into a delightful hand-crafted receptacle, inside and out, worthy of display, to hold keys or small keepsakes or as a unique gift for someone else.

Approximate size is 5 by 4  1/4 inches. Magnetic closure.

According to the United Network of Organ Sharing, of approximately 106,000 people in the U.S. on the transplant list, 92,000 of them are in need of a kidney. It takes one kidney to save a life. Most of us are born with two. A healthy person of consensual age can ask about being a living kidney donor. Go to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org for more information.

Do you know a "warrior?"

We provide a discount on the purchase of a Warrior Box for anyone on dialysis or awaiting a kidney transplant.

Add a pair of *Lucky Shamrock* ornaments from a cinnamon girl and "share your spare" - one for the donor and one for the recipient,

with part of proceeds from sales donated to Mulligans Living Kidney Donors,

a non-profit support group for those in need of a kidney transplant.
